Sayre won the last time they faced North Penn-Liberty and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Sayre Redskins put the hurt on the North Penn-Liberty Mountie with a sharp 75-49 win. The Redskins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 25 points or more this season.

Sayre had a senior duo take command as Ryan Ressler dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 boards and Nick Pellicano went 7 for 17 en route to 17 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Ressler. Another player making a difference was Mike Griffin, who posted 13 points.

Sayre smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.

Despite the loss, North Penn-Liberty still got an impressive performance from Evan Mctish, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. Luke Kreger was another key player, putting up eight points.

Sayre pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.3 points. As for North Penn-Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Sayre wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-33 win against Canton on the 16th. As for North Penn-Liberty, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-54 victory against Cowanesque Valley on the 16th.
