Softball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence was the 5-4 winner over East Limestone when they last played one another back in March of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 6-2 to the Indians on Thursday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 6-21. As for East Limestone, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Coming up, Florence is taking a road trip to square off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Limestone, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-4 loss against New Hope on the 3rd.
