Baseball Recap: Fort Madison Takes a Loss

Fort Madison lost against Mt. Pleasant back in June, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bloodhounds came up short against the Panthers, falling 11-4. The Bloodhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Fort Madison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-11 loss against Oskaloosa on the 7th. Mt. Pleasant has also already played their next match (against Davenport Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
