Sacred Heart Academy barely beat Lauralton Hall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Sharks blew past the Crusaders 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Sharks, who have now won six matchups in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Maddy Burke paced Sacred Heart Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Burke got some help from Bella Spinato and her 17 assists. Spinato was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Sacred Heart Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Lauralton Hall, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sacred Heart Academy will take on rival Shelton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lauralton Hall is set to challenge their familiar foe Branford at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
