Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends Pinkston's Winning Streak

After flying high against Inspired Vision last Saturday, Pinkston came back down to earth. The Pinkston Vikings lost 4-0 to the Wilmer-Hutchins Eagles on Wednesday. Considering the last time the Vikings couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

The defeat snapped Pinkston's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-6 record. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matchups. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinkston will head out to take on North Dallas at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
