Baseball Recap: Eastern Lebanon County Comes Up Short

Eastern Lebanon County came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Garden Spot Spartans, falling 9-2. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 9-1.

Eastern Lebanon County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Martin, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Braden Gettle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Eastern Lebanon County's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Garden Spot, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
