Plainfield North is 8-0-2 against Oswego since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Plainfield North sitting on four straight victories and Oswego on three.

Plainfield North's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Plainfield East 4-0. Plainfield North might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Oswego narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Downers Grove South 2-1. Given Oswego's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Downers Grove South are ranked 108th) , the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plainfield North's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those five games. As for Oswego, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2-2.
