Softball Recap: Acorn Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hackett, Acorn was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Danville Little Johns a 14-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The win got Acorn back to even at 1-1. As for Danville, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Acorn will head out to challenge Caddo Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Danville, they will face off against Hackett at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hackett will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Danville surely won't give up without a fight.
