Softball Game Preview: Aurora East Tomcats vs. Westmont Sentinels

The Aurora East Tomcats will head out on the road to face off against the Westmont Sentinels at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Aurora East is looking for their season's first win.

Aurora East fell victim to South Elgin and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 26-0 to the Storm.

Meanwhile, Westmont came up short against Plano on Friday, falling 18-1. The Sentinels haven't had much luck with the Reapers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Westmont now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Aurora East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Aurora East might still be hurting after the 20-12 loss they got from Westmont in their previous meeting back in March of 2018. Can the Tomcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
