Waverly won the last time they faced Elkhorn and things went their way on Thursday too. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 win over the Antlers.

Waverly had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-17.

Gracie Lauenstein paced Waverly's offense, picking up 21 kills. Lauenstein got some help from McKinley Moser and her 52 assists. Hallie Lauenstein controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Elkhorn lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bailey Ferguson, who had 14 digs and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Stockdale, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Waverly's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Elkhorn, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-14.

As of now, neither Waverly nor the Antlers have any future games scheduled.
