Volleyball Recap: SouthWest Edgecombe Takes a Loss + How To Watch

SouthWest Edgecombe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Nash Central Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Wednesday.

While SouthWest Edgecombe was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Nash Central's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-19.

SouthWest Edgecombe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Nash Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

SouthWest Edgecombe will be playing at home against North Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nash Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Wake Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
