Soccer Recap: Sheets Memorial Christian Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sheets Memorial Christian's offense. They fell just short of the Grace Academy Lions by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sheets Memorial Christian of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Sheets Memorial Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Grace Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Sheets Memorial Christian will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Matthews Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grace Academy, they will head out to challenge Socrates Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
