Volleyball Recap: Dymally Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harbor Teacher, Dymally was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the George Washington Prep Generals by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Challengers: when they faced off against the Generals back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (97-95) Dymally actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-23, 28-26, 25-23.

Dymally's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for George Washington Prep, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Dymally and Crenshaw will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for George Washington Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dorsey at 4:30 p.m. on the 21st. The Dons will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Generals surely won't give up without a fight.
