Baseball Recap: Starkville Christian Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against French Camp Academy, Starkville Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Newton County Academy Generals 11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-run performance the match before.

Starkville Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Newton County Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Starkville Christian will challenge Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newton County Academy, they will square off against Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Generals are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
