Baseball Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

Alhambra fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Millennium on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 4-3. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2015.

Alhambra's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Millennium, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alhambra will challenge Central at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Millennium, they will take on Sunnyslope at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Vikings will have lost six straight heading into Monday's contest.
