Football Recap: Narbonne Takes a Loss

Narbonne lost against Culver City back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gauchos were beaten by the Centaurs 43-6. While losing is never fun, the Gauchos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Centaurs are ranked 105th).

Leading Culver City to victory were Langston Wilson and Nicholas Hoang. Wilson gained 90 total yards and two touchdowns, while Hoang threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns.

Narbonne is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Culver City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Narbonne is taking a road trip to face off against Lynwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Culver City, they will host Salesian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
