Baseball Recap: Andover Central's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Andover Central was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Eisenhower on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valley Center Hornets on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss on Tuesday.

Andover Central's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10-1. As for Valley Center, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hornets beat Andover Central by a score of 3-1 later that day.
