His name is Traveon Freshwater which right away grabs ones attention. He grabs more than that when rushing the quarterback.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound junior linebacker and running back from Northeastern (Elizabeth City, N.C.) leads the nation with 25 sacks.

A third-year starter, the four-star recruit already has 343 career tackles and 59 sacks. And that's only half of his talent.

The big, physical standout simply doesn't go down when given the ball. He's rushed for 1,457 yards at 19.3 yards per carry for the 11-0 Eagles. He's scored 19 touchdowns.

He already has 11 offers, including Michigan State, Duke, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Wake Forrest. According to 247Sports, he's ranked the No. 15 outside linebacker in the country for the Class of 2019.

With credentials and numbers like that, along with name like Freshwater, the lad appears destined for bigger, deeper, fresher waters.
