After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last six contests, Interlake finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 18-2 to the Kennedy Catholic Lancers. The Saints' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Interlake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vedika Jagtap, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Interlake's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Kennedy Catholic, they now also have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Interlake will face off against Foster at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Kennedy Catholic, they will take on Auburn at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
