Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Downtown Doral). They blew past the Monsignor Pace Spartans 9-1 on Thursday. The Dolphins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Monsignor Pace from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Carolina Gonzalez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Downtown Doral's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Monsignor Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Downtown Doral will challenge Florida Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monsignor Pace, they will square off against Archbishop Carroll at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
