Basketball Recap: Hays-Lodge Pole Comes Up Short

Hays-Lodge Pole lost against Chester-Joplin-Inverness back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 36-35 to the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks.

Hays-Lodge Pole now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Chester-Joplin-Inverness, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Hays-Lodge Pole has already played their next match (against Box Elder), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chester-Joplin-Inverness will square off against Big Sandy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Sandy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Chester-Joplin-Inverness surely won't give up without a fight.
