Hayfork Wins 19th-Straight Thanks to Levi Cavalli
Levi Cavalli was instrumental in extending Hayfork's winning streak to 19 on Friday. Burney had no answer to Cavalli as he rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 63 yards and a touchdown. Cavalli's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Cavalli could be in store for another big game when he takes on Loyalton on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Cavalli saw the Grizzlies), he rushed for 253 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry.
