Volleyball Recap: Kingdom Christian Triumphs

The Kingdom Christian Lions were able to grind out a solid win over the High Point Christian Academy Huskies on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Evie Oglesby paced Kingdom Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Oglesby got some help from Olivia Helstad and her eight assists. Oglesby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Kingdom Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for High Point Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Kingdom Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. High Point Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
