After losing to Maranatha the last time they met, Bishop Amat decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Minutemen on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Bishop Amat never let Maranatha on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-6, 25-23.

Bishop Amat found their leader in freshman Lauren Meza, who had 12 digs.

Bishop Amat's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Amat will challenge Charter Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maranatha, they will head out to take on La Serna at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
