Baseball Recap: Blooming Grove Lions vs. Palmer Bulldogs
Blooming Grove had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-8 to make it four. They came up short against the Palmer Bulldogs, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 19-4 loss on Tuesday.

For Palmer's part, Cooper Stockton made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Stockton has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
