Basketball Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

St. Charles was the 77-57 winner over Plainview-Elgin-Millville when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Saints took a 72-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Friday.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, St. Charles will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Waterville-Elysian-Morristown at 6:30 p.m. on the 20th. As for Plainview-Elgin-Millville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 84-71 victory against Randolph on the 15th.
