Volleyball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Valley Regional Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-15.

Morgan's offense was headlined by Trinity Benson and Emma Teuner, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Vece and her 14 assists. Finally, Teuner was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Valley Regional, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Morgan will square off against rival North Branford at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Valley Regional is set to face off against their familiar foe Old Lyme at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
