Basketball Game Preview: Greater Vision Academy Lions vs. Alamance Christian Warriors

The Greater Vision Academy Lions just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Alamance Christian Warriors at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Vision Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Alamance Christian likes a good challenge.

Bradun Rogers had another great game (as he tends to do), going 10-for-14 en route to 28 points along with five assists and three steals. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Coyrick Cheek Jr, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 15 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Alamance Christian strolled past River Mill with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 56-39. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Alamance Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Greater Vision Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Greater Vision Academy came up short against Alamance Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 57-53. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
