Basketball Recap: Scott Takes a Loss

Scott played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Defiance and fell 53-11. The loss leaves Scott still looking for their first win of the season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Jaden Sims and Gucci Pope, who each put up four points.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Defiance, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Scott will head out to take on Cardinal Stritch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Defiance, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ottawa-Glandorf at 7:30 p.m. The contest will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
