Basketball Game Preview: Wade Hampton Generals vs. Dorman Cavaliers

Wade Hampton is 1-9 against Dorman since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played.

Wade Hampton is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Tuesday. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spartanburg.

Meanwhile, Dorman waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 44-24 victory. The 44-point effort marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dorman pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Wade Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Wade Hampton took a serious blow against Dorman in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 79-48. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Wade Hampton was down 43-22.
