Carroll Christian were dealt a 71-31 loss at the hands of the Frederick Christian Academy Defenders. Carroll Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-13.

Carroll Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frederick Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Carroll Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Calvary Baptist Church Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frederick Christian Academy, they will square off against Mount Airy Christian Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mount Airy Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season.
