Baseball Recap: St. Brendan Takes a Loss

St. Brendan and Miami Springs squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. Brendan had to settle for second. They fell 7-2 to the Golden Hawks. The Sabres haven't had much luck with the Golden Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

St. Brendan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diego Alvarez, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Kevin Leon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

St. Brendan's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Miami Springs, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-10-1.

St. Brendan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miami Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against iMater Charter on the 1st.
