Fletcher waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Mandarin Mustangs by a score of 19-6. The Senators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Jasmine Cross was her usual excellent self, throwing for 166 yards and two TDs, while also rushing for 49 yards and one touchdown.

Fletcher didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Riley Chapman and Arabella Thomas.

Fletcher pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.5 points over those games. As for Mandarin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Fletcher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mandarin, they have already played their next contest, a 31-0 win against Atlantic Coast on the 9th.
