Volleyball Recap: Washington-Liberty Generals vs. McLean Highlanders
Washington-Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the McLean Highlanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Highlanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.
Washington-Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13-1. As for McLean, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington-Liberty will welcome George C. Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLean, after both having extra time off, they and Herndon will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
