Basketball Game Preview: New Albany Eagles vs. Lincoln Lions

New Albany is 0-10 against Lincoln since January of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The New Albany Eagles will host the Lincoln Lions at 7:30 p.m.

New Albany is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They fell 54-47 to Marysville. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Monarchs are ranked 149th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. They secured a 39-33 W over Bishop Watterson on Tuesday.

Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for New Albany, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

New Albany came up short against Lincoln in their previous matchup back in January, falling 36-30. Can New Albany avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
