Liberty came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against East Fairmont, but River Mcclain wouldn't allow it. The East Fairmont Bees came out on top against the Liberty Mountaineers by a score of 52-45 on Thursday thanks in part to Mcclain, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 21 points and five boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of East Fairmont's points.

East Fairmont's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Liberty, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

Looking ahead, East Fairmont will welcome Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Fairmont is facing Lincoln at the right time seeing as Lincoln is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will head out to face off against Lewis County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
