Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Calais walked away with it. They took down the George Stevens Academy Eagles 69-54 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Blue Devils, who have now won five games in a row.

Calais' victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for George Stevens Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Calais will face off against Machias at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Machias will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Calais surely won't give up without a fight. George Stevens Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
