Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Victory Christian kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Community Christian Academy Ambassadors, falling 3-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Ambassadors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Victory Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Community Christian Academy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-10, 25-22.

The victory (which was Community Christian Academy's 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Looking ahead, Community Christian Academy will take on Oakbrook Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Victory Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Ambassadors' matchup: after the Ambassadors face off against Orangeburg Christian Academy, they'll take on Victory Christian again at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
