Preview: Kingston Cardinals vs. Dryden Cardinals
The Kingston Cardinals will be playing at home against the Dryden Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingston will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Kingston pushed their score all the way to 64 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Ubly 70-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (63), Kingston still had to take the loss.
Despite their loss, Kingston saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Owen Corlis, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, was perhaps the best of all. Corlis is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Austin Deroseau, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Dryden can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 63-15 win over Memphis at home. The win was nothing new for Dryden as they're now sitting on four straight.
Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Dryden, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
