Preview: Tift County vs. Ware County
The Tift County Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Ware County Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ware County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tift County, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Tift County kept a clean sheet against Cook. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Hornets. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Tift County considering their one-goal performance the game before.
They hit Cook with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Brock Harden (2),
Oscar Pena, and
Austin Elizalde.
Meanwhile, Ware County came up short against Long County on Thursday and fell 4-2. Ware County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tift County now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Ware County, they now have a losing record at 1-2-1.
Everything went Tift County's way against Ware County when the teams last played back in February of 2016 as Tift County made off with a 8-4 win. Does Tift County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ware County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
