University Prep Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the El Primero Lobos 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant University Prep Academy was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-11, 25-12.

University Prep Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taran Kollu, who had seven digs and one block. Kollu has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brandon Nguyen, who had 28 digs.

University Prep Academy pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for El Primero, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.
