Football Game Preview: Danville Admirals vs. Somerset Briar Jumpers

The Danville Admirals will head out to face off against the Somerset Briar Jumpers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Danville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Green County, sneaking past 20-18. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Admirals.

Meanwhile, Somerset humbled Washington County with a 49-21 victory. The result was nothing new for the Briar Jumpers, who have now won eight games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Somerset's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Danville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Danville was dealt a bruising 42-10 defeat at the hands of Somerset when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Admirals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
