Jake Garton posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Sunday. He struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Vineland: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
