After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Park, McClatchy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Kennedy Cougars by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

McClatchy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 20-25, 25-16.

McClatchy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Kennedy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McClatchy will challenge rival Grant at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kennedy is set to face off against their familiar foe West Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
