Softball Game Preview: Cocoa Tigers vs. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers

Cocoa are taking a road trip to take on Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cocoa has given up an average of 13.1 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cocoa couldn't beat Titusville on Monday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Tigers came up short against the Terriers, falling 18-12. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Terriers since on Monday.

Jerriana Pollard was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Gonzalez, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy lost 9-3 to Cocoa Beach on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Minutemen: they've now lost three in a row.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaliannah McMillan, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
