Recap: Eastside Rams vs. Wildwood Wildcats
The Eastside Rams had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by Wildwood on the road and fell 66-17. Eastside was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-16.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wildwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trinidy Harris, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Essiance Jasper, who scored 17 points.
Eastside's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Wildwood, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will take on Vanguard at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Vanguard focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Monday. As for Wildwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buchholz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
