Softball Recap: Elk Point-Jefferson Takes Down Ranked Sioux Valley

Elk Point-Jefferson faced Sioux Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Huskies walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Cossacks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Elk Point-Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Sioux Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-10.

As of now, neither Elk Point-Jefferson nor the Cossacks have any future games scheduled.
