Soccer Game Preview: Sotomayor vs. Harlan

Sotomayor hasn't had much luck against Harlan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The WILDCATS will welcome the Hawks at 10:00 a.m.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sotomayor's offense. They fell 2-0 to Warren on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Sotomayor can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 429th, while Warren are ranked 133rd).

Meanwhile, Harlan hasn't lost a match since January 10th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Neither they nor Warren could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Harlan have been dealt a draw since back in February.

Marcus Saa and Mikey Trevinio scored both of Harlan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Sotomayor's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-4. With that draw, Harlan's record moves to 14-4-3.
