            The McCook Bison will head out to  square off against the Seward Bluejays  on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their  games after big wins in their previous games.
McCook is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They blew past Lexington 49-21  on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 21, 2018, but that streak is no more.
 Tristan Campbell produced another solid  performance rushing for 252 yards and five  scores while picking up 14.0 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 68 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ty Junker, who rushed for 56 yards and one  touchdown on only five carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: McCook was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 417  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  since  the start of last season.
Meanwhile, Seward entered their tilt with Crete on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They breezed past the Cardinals to the tune of  42-7. 42 seems to be a good number for the Bluejays as the  team scooped up a  victory with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 McCook better keep an eye on  Kayson Salyer. He was instrumental in Seward's win, throwing for 246 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes.  Jack Vyhnalek did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 147  receiving yards.
 McCook's record now sits at 7-2. As for Seward, their record is now an identical 7-2.
 McCook came up short against Seward in their previous matchup  back in September of 2021, falling  24-17. Can the Bison avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
