Volleyball Recap: St. Edmund Comes Up Short + How To Watch

St. Edmund was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Iota Bulldogs, falling 3-0. If the Fighting Blue Jays were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Edmund's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Iota, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Edmund will face off against Church Point at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Iota, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Vinton at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th.
